The Spanish are calling for real democracy, protesting the political policies, high unemployment rates, major tax increases, and welfare cuts.
Unfortunately, we were not there for the actual demonstration (some 25,00 people filled this Plaza before the elections http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13482868 ) but these are pictures of the remaining protesters camping out in Puerta del Sol.
