My days in Eastern Germany

 We are working on replacing all of these beams because the original ones are rotten. Chiseling away at old old oak found around the property. 

 

As a result of this I have been cooking a lot of chard!! 

Last week we had an unbelievable amount of Red Currants so we made lots of jam and desserts!

 

I made red currant meringue pie...mmmmm

Unfortunately I was only in Austria for one night, but it was absolutely stunning and I definitely plan on going back.
